Theodora Kalakidou has been active in the field of audiovisual arts since 2010. She studied Informatics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and photography at Stereosis. She has also completed a two-year study program titled "Contemporary Art Photography" at Focus School of Photography and has attended seminars on documentary filmmaking and cinematography.

She works as a photographer, camera operator, and director of photography in the fields of documentary, advertising, and cinema.
