Fotis Dousos

Co-Founder and Producer

Fotis Dousos was born in Serres in 1980 and is a graduate of the Department of Theatre at the School of Fine Arts of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is a PhD candidate at the Department of Philology at the University of Crete.

He is a playwright, director, actor, educator, and writer. In 2009, he co-founded the Hippo Theatre Group, which has presented performances in Greece, Europe, the USA, Canada, and Australia. He has also collaborated with major theatrical institutions, including the National Theatre of Northern Greece (NTNG) and Porta Theatre.

Since 2018, he has been organizing creative writing workshops for adults, while his theatrical and literary works have been awarded and published. His play The Emperor’s Dilemma, co-written with Alexandros Raptis, won second prize at the Strus International Children's Theatre Festival in Ukraine. Additionally, he contributes articles to magazines and works as a script consultant for television and cinema.
