In a land of darkness where a mad king steals people's dreams with magic and freedoms are suppressed, there is a myth about the twins that will change the world. The king keeps the girl Avgi imprisoned. Anthos starts a big journey to free her. A world full of elves, walking trees, witches, speaking wells, black riders and drunk dragons ready to be explored. Will our twins be the heroes the people expect and will Good prevail in the end?
Hippo Theatre Group creates a contemporary adventure full of laughter and emotion. The modern play by Thomas Velissaris is based on Greek folk stories and the poem Lampros by Dionisios Solomos.
Physical theater, music, singing and dancing compose an impressive artistic spectacle with fast, tight rythm, and high entertaining quality.
The show talks about personal freedom and social responsibility.
The show follows a Drama in Education workshop. Through theater techniques (body and vocal games) children participate in a fantastic world inspired from the performance. Drama in Education' s basic targets are the development of the ability for verbal communication, the cultivation of the aesthetic expession, the boost of critical thought and the awereness regarding issues such as solidarity and social justice.
